This Privacy Policy explains how Mont Pelerin Workspace LLC ("Mont Pelerin", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit montpelerin.com (the "Site") or use the Mont Pelerin online coworking service (the "Service"). Mont Pelerin Workspace LLC is the company responsible for the personal data described here.

1. What we collect and why

We collect only what we need for these purposes. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it to make automated decisions with legal effects.
2. Who we share data with
- Hosting and delivery: Cloudflare, Inc. (content delivery, security, hosting of this Site).
- Email delivery: our transactional email provider, used to deliver contact-form messages and account emails.
- Live chat: if a chat widget is shown on the Site, it is provided by Crisp IM SAS; messages you type in the chat are processed by Crisp on our behalf.
- Payments: our payment processor, which receives your card details directly.
- Advertising measurement: Microsoft Corporation, through Microsoft Advertising (see Section 3).
- Legal: authorities or advisers when required by law or to protect our rights.
Each provider processes data under a contract that limits use to the services they provide to us.
3. Microsoft Advertising and tracking
We advertise on Microsoft Advertising (Bing and partner sites). To measure whether those ads work, this Site uses the Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag. When the tag is active it sets cookies and collects your IP address, browser information, the pages you visit on this Site, and whether you completed actions such as sending the contact form. This means that Microsoft collects or receives personal data from visitors to this Site and may combine it with other data it holds to measure and improve advertising, including showing you ads for Mont Pelerin on other sites (remarketing).
How Microsoft uses this data is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can control personalised ads from Microsoft at Microsoft ad settings.
The tag loads only after you accept optional cookies, and you can turn it off at any time in Your Privacy Choices below or on the Cookie Policy page. We do not pass names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying data to Microsoft through the tag.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off because the Site would not work securely without them. All other cookies are optional.
5. Your Privacy Choices
Advertising measurement runs only after you accept optional cookies in the cookie notice or here. You can change your choice at any time; it is stored in your browser and applies to this device and browser. See also the Cookie Policy.
You may also use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out and the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out. Browser "Global Privacy Control" signals are honoured as an opt-out on this Site.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your data;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data and of targeted advertising (US state laws), which you can do in Section 5;
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and port your data (EEA/UK);
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@montpelerin.com. We will verify your request using the email address on your account and respond within the time required by law (45 days for US state law requests, one month in the EEA/UK). You may appoint an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
7. How long we keep data
- Contact-form messages: 12 months after our last reply.
- Account and Service data: for as long as your account is active, then deleted within 90 days of closure, except where we must keep records for tax or legal purposes (up to 7 years for billing records).
- Technical logs: 30 days.
- Advertising measurement cookies: see the table in Section 4.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework as applicable.
9. Security
The Site and Service are served over HTTPS. Access to personal data is limited to staff and providers who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.
10. Children
The Site and Service are not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. For material changes we will also notify account holders by email.
