This Cookie Policy explains how Mont Pelerin Workspace LLC ("Mont Pelerin", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on montpelerin.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Your current choice
Your choice is stored in this browser and is remembered on your next visit. The cookie notice is shown only once, until you make a choice here or in the notice.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some cookies are needed for a site to work; others measure how the site and our advertising perform. We also use local storage, a similar browser feature, to remember your cookie choice.
Cookies we use
| Name | Set by | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| mp_consent (local storage) | Mont Pelerin | Necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies | Until you clear it |
| __cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Necessary | Bot protection and security for the site | 30 minutes / up to 1 year |
| _uetsid, _uetvid, MUID | Microsoft Advertising | Advertising measurement (optional) | Tells us which Microsoft Advertising ads led to a visit or sign-up; may be used by Microsoft for remarketing | 1 day to 13 months |
| crisp-client/* | Crisp (only if live chat is enabled) | Functional (optional) | Keeps your chat conversation open between pages | 6 months |
Optional cookies load only after you accept
The Microsoft Advertising measurement tag is not loaded until you choose Accept all. If you choose Only necessary, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the tag stays off. How Microsoft uses the data it receives is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement; you can manage Microsoft's ad personalisation at Microsoft ad settings.
Other ways to control cookies
- Change your choice above at any time.
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working, but you will see the notice again.
- Use the DAA opt-out or NAI opt-out for interest-based advertising generally.
